This was our first opportunity to see Voyager of the Seas after her refit in mid 2014.
What made this departure day so special was that her Sister ship, Explorer of the Seas was making it’s maiden visit to it’s summer home port of Sydney.
Voyager of the Seas is a Dreamworks themed vessel, so all around the ship you can see different Dreamworks characters at various times.
But the highlight for me was the chance to go on the Flowrider, a surfing machine at sea!
Standing up was certainly a challenge for someone who has never surfed before, but David managed to let me go “hands free” even if for only a very short time! It was more fun than I can put into words, & I’m looking forward to testing myself again shortly on Explorer of the Seas.
